What we’re bringing to market…September 1st

August 31, 2012 By Blue Skys Farm

How can it be September already???  Beautiful day at the farm.  A little warm but a nice breeze made it very pleasant.  Below is a photograph of Kim’s Custom Salad Mix just prior to cutting, washing, drying, weighing, bagging  and packing for market.  There’s a bit of work to do but it is well worth the effort!

In addition, we will be be bringing the following to market:
Tom’s Red Beets
Green Tomatoes (perfect for frying!)
Slicers, Heirloom & Cherry Tomatoes
Red Russian Kale
Ruby Red and Bright Lights Swiss Chard
White Cippolini Onions (great for kabobs!)
Garlic
Sweet Peppers
Padron Peppers
Sweet Pickling Peppers
Italian Frying Peppers
Eggplant – Kermit, Barbarella and Swallow Varieties
Cucumbers

In the morning, Christina will be taking fresh cuts of the beautiful (and equally tasty) Purple Basil, Holy Basil and Cutting Celery.  Can’t get any fresher than that!  Have a great evening and see you at the market!
