The tomatoes are here!  The tomatoes are here!  Be sure to get to the farmers’ market early to be sure to get yours!

This week we are bringing the following vegetables to market:

Sun Gold Tomatoes – a tasty, low-acid orange cherry tomato
Tomatoberry Garden Tomatoes – uniquely strawberry-shaped tomato with an excellent sweet flavor
Baby Summer Squash!  – always a favorite.  It’s hard to resist these cute little vegetables.  Great for kabobs.
Ronde Di Nice Zucchini – a firm zucchini with a slight nutty and sweet flavor.  Very little seeds even when fruit is harvested in its full size.
Papaya Pear Summer Squash – a squash with a sweet flavor and firm texture that holds up well when cooked.
Beets (w/greens) – A must-have for roasting.  Yum!
Gold of Bacau Wax Pole Beans – be sure to check these out if you haven’t already.   Our harvest is slowing down and we expect only another week or so of these tender and sweet beans.
White Cipollini Onions – Sweet, medium-small, flat white onions.
Red Marble Onion – Bunched small, beautiful red onions.
Lettuce Rosettes – Pablo, a beautiful red lettuce that we’ve harvested in its rosette form.
Fennel – Beautiful fronds and bulbs.

Hope to see you at the market!
