what we’re bringing to market – July 2nd

What a beautiful day in Rhode Island! We had a great harvest and look forward to providing you with some tasty vegetables and stunning flowers.

Take a look at a couple photos taken today of the lilies that will be making their way to the Pawtuxet Village Farmers’ Market with us tomorrow morning.

As for vegetables you’ll find:

*Gold of Bacau Wax Pole Beans (please see previous entry for more on this delicious pole bean)
* Papaya Pear Summer Squash
* Ronde de Nice Zucchini
* Beets w/ greens!  (first time this season…and they are BEAUTIFUL!)
* Fennel 
* Brocolli
* Swiss Chard, 
* Lacinato Kale
* Collard Greens  (don’t fear the collards, they are very tasty!)
*Salad Mix w/ Borage Flowers
*Head Lettuce
*Escarole (please see previous entry for more on this hearty green)
