What we are bringing to market…June 30th

June 29, 2012 By Blue Skys Farm

This week you will see the first of the cherry tomatoes…Sun Gold and TomatoBerry!  There are plenty of fruit on the other varieties…but they are still green.  :-/  Keeping our fingers crossed that they will ripen soon as well.  There is nothing like the taste of freshly picked tomatoes in the summertime.

In addition will we be bringing the following items to market:

Delicious Beets Picked This Afternoon!

Golden and Red Beets (with tops!)
Purple Spring Onions
Purple Kholrobi
Scallions
Kim’s Custom Salad Mix
Red Romaine Lettuce
Green Romaine Lettuce
Kale
Swiss Chard
Cucumbers
Sugar Snap Peas

For flowers, Christina tells me that there will be an abundant number of Sunflowers and White Swan Cone Flowers (Echinacea) along with the arrival of the first of the dried Lavender!  There is only a one week window to harvest Lavender and this was it!

See you at the market!
