It’s winter and I’m so sleepy!

January 10, 2013 By Blue Skys Farm

I’m sleepy but the farm is not that sleepy.  We’ve got spinach, bibb lettuce, mustard mix, arugula and loose leaf lettuce growing in the hoophouse.  You can find us at the Hope Artiste Wintertime Market every Wednesday from 4 to 7 until the end of January (see www.farmfreshri.org for a complete listing of wintertime markets).

Also, new this year, is the Pawtuxet Village Wintertime Market.  This market runs every other Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30 at 1788 Broad Street; inside the Santuary at the Edgewood Congregational Church.  Ongoing schedule is Jan 10 and 24; Feb 7 and 21; March 7 and 21; April 4 and 18.  We thank you for all your support!  Thanks to Bri’s and other’s enthusiasm, we finally got a winter market going…
