Blue Skys Farm was asked to participate in a grant funded by SARE (Sustainable Agriculture Research & Education) through the URI Cooperative Extension Program. Blue Skys will be given 100 to 120 tomato plants which will be planted in the high tunnel (unheated hoop house) around April 15th. Monitoring will be done on yield, soil analysis and tissue culture.
Blue Skys Farm is very excited to participate, and if all goes according to plan, we should be seeing these delicious tomatoes at the farmers market around the end of June!
