Market – May 18th

May 17, 2013 By Blue Skys Farm

Hello!

We’ve got some great items for you this week at the market.  It is our first week for Bright Lights Swiss Chard and Rainbow Lacinato Kale.  In addition we will be bringing Lettuce Mix, Spinach and Nettles.

For those of you doing some planting over the next couple of weeks, we’ve got a nice selection of annuals, shade-loving perennials, herbs and vegetable starts.

Our feature vegetable start this week is the San Marzano tomato.
They are an heirloom plum tomato that is coveted by chefs and cooks
worldwide for their delicious, balanced acidic flavor and meaty flesh.

Be sure to get a few of these plants for yourself!

Short on space?  Be sure to ask us about “single stemming” tomato plants.  It allows for tomato plants to be spaced only 1 foot apart.

See you at the market!
