Farmer’s Market – June 14th

June 13, 2014 By Blue Skys Farm

Please remember that the farmer’s market this week will be located behind the William Hall Library, due to the Gaspee Day Celebration in Pawtuxet Village.

Hopefully tomorrow will be a bit better weather-wise when compared to today.  Here is an idea of what it felt like at times at the farm today.

There are days that being a farmer can be envied…today was not one of them.  We haven’t seen downpours like that for a long time.

We persevered through the pouring rain and were able to harvest the following items for market.

Christina’s Custom Salad Mix
Lacinato Kale
Bright Lights Swiss Chard
Sugar Snap Peas
Shunkyo Radishes
Purple Scallions

For flowers we several varieties of sunflowers as well as our beautiful pink peonies.

See you at the market!

Remember…the market is behind the William Hall Library this week.

Farmer Kim

Sorry, no farm photos today.  WAY too wet.
