Farmer’s Market – September 6, 2014

He’s back!  Cinnamon once again visited the farm with momma Erica.  How can you resist those big brown eyes?

He has charmed us all.  Including Sally Lee of Big Train Farm.

Cinammon taste tested our Sun Gold Cherry Tomatoes and White Russian Kale and can’t recommend them enough.  Be sure to get some for yourself!

This week we will be bringing the following items to market:

Arugula (first cutting of the fall)
Padron Peppers
Sweet Italian Frying Peppers
Christina’s Custom Salad Mix
Bright Lights Swiss Chard
White Russian Kale
Fortex Pole Beans
Red Ace Beets
Baby Eggplant
Zucchini
Baby Summer Squash
Patty Pan Squash
Fennel
Tomatoes (including green tomatoes)
Purple Potatoes
Garlic
Onions
Tom’s Mushroom Farm Oyster Mushrooms

Scratch Farm will be providing:
Husk Cherries
Leeks
Carrots
Heirloom Tomatoes
Haruki Turnips

Big Train Farm will be providing:
Okra
Sweet Red Peppers (Carmen)
Asian Eggplant

As always we will have dried medicinal and culinary herbs for sale as well as Christina’s beautiful flowers!

Did you know that you could bring a vase and we will fill it with
beautiful flowers?  Look at this beautiful vase provided by one of our
favorite customers.  Pretty indeed!
