Summer temperatures at the farm today. Thankfully there was a nice breeze to cool us down a bit. The increasing temperatures and a bit of water has caused everything (weeds included) to grow in leaps and bounds! See here:

No one grows flowers like Christina! Flowers that are chemical- and pesticide-free AND grown locally. How can you beat that?
Here,
Christina is braving the afternoon heat of the high tunnel to harvest
Statice. The air temperature in the high tunnel, even with the sides
up, are in the high nineties this time of year.

Help!
Does anyone have any plastic grocery bags that they would like to donate to Blue Skys Farm? We are in short supply and could use any extras that you may have. We are also looking for clean, half-gallon containers that milk and juice come in. We open up the top and use them to contain flower bouquets.
Blue Skys Farm loves to reuse and recycle whenever we can. Thanks in advance for your donations.

Hope to see you at the market!
