Lavender!

What do you do with lavender?
From The Good Herb by Judith Benn Hurley:
  • Tuck several fresh lavender flowers into the sugar bowl to perfume it.
  • When your hands smell oniony, rub two lavender flowers between them.
  • Use in fruit salad.
  • Use as garnish in soups.
  • Lavender has antiseptic and healing properties.
  • Lavender flowers contain tannins which have an astringent action on the skin: Add lavender flowers to facial toner or aftershave.
Of course, enjoy our lavender/lemon balm tea…ONLY AVAILABLE AT BLUE SKYS FARM
