Wintertime Farmers Market – January 30th

January 29, 2016 By Blue Skys Farm

Come and visit us on Saturday:

Pawtucket Wintertime Farmers’ Market
Hope Artiste Village, 1005 Main St, Pawtucket
Saturday, 9am–1pm

Did you know…

…The farmland that Blue Skys rents is owned and protected by the State of RI’s Department of Environmental Management and leased to Southside Community Land Trust (SCLT)?

This program is very unique in that six other farmers also farm at this location. The group collaboratively manages the 50 acre property with the support of SCLT. Blue Skys Farm is happy to be able to offer our own goods at the Wintertime Market, in addition to the produce of Scratch Farm, Pak Express Farm, Big Train Farm, and Zephyr Farm.

Collaboration works! (Too bad the politicians don’t get it!)

Here’s what we’ll have this weekend:

from Blue Skys Farm:
Spinach
Swiss Chard
Herbal Tea
Fresh Rosemary
Dried Sage & Thyme

from Scratch Farm:
Spinach
Carrots
Popcorn
Flintcorn

from Pak Express:
Mixed Greens
Potatoes
Onions
Eggs

from Big Train Farm:
Eggs

from Zephyr Farm:
Sweet Dumpling Winter Squash
Garlic
Onions
Red, White & Blue Potatoes
