Farm News

Mother Nature has been all over the place this week.  It has felt like fall and it has felt like summer.  Luckily, through it all, she has provided us with rain.

This is a time a transition at the farm.  Outside, we are removing old crops and replacing them with either cover crops or fall crops such as carrots, beets, arugula and lettuce.

The drying room is also busy transforming everything from peppermint to spilanthes to its dried form.  There are very few empty spots to be found.  Looks like we will be very busy this fall processing all of these herbs and preparing them for market.
